On this day in history, 35th President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas. Vice-president Lyndon B. Johnson was promptly sworn in and was elected in 1964.

Ashley: Howdy! My name is Ashley Breanne Waggoner. I'm a 29-(until February 3, 2010,at least!)year-old community college English instructor and graduate student at Eastern Illinois University from Olney, IL.
